Airport Parking

Many people find that the easiest and cheapest way of getting to an airport is to drive, particularly if you share the petrol costs with your passengers. However, once you arrive at the airport you're left with the question of what to do with your car? Most airports offer long stay parking facilities where you can park your car until you return from your trip. The cost of these parking facilities will depend on their proximity to the airport and how long you intend to stay there.

If you're going away for a while, which is usually the case for most people travelling to the more far flung locations then parking can get quite expensive! If you were taking Kenya holidays and staying away for three weeks or so then the parking costs might end up being pretty high. However, with the incredibly high cost of rail travel then driving and parking might still prove to be a better option.

However, if you don't live too far away from the airport you're flying from, then using an airport taxi service might work out cheaper than using the long stay parking facilities. Some air port car parks that are located quite far from the airport will sometimes be a lot cheaper, and they compensate for the distance with busses to transfer the passengers to and from the airport.
